We have heard the advertising expression, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." But is that true? Can we do whatever we want, say whatever we want and think that no one will find out, even if it happens in Las Vegas? Can we hide our sins and our words?

Christ said, "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known" (Luke 12:2). Proverbs 15:3 says: "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good." Job 34:21-22 states, "For His eyes are on the ways of man, and He sees all his steps. There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves."

Yes, maybe for a time we can hide our deeds from men, but God sees all that we do, the good and the bad. It is a mark of wisdom to remember that—we are not alone.
