The brethren of the Cotonou congregation in Benin were blessed to meet at a hotel in the historic downtown of Ouidah situated about 40 kilometers west of Cotonou and near the Atlantic Ocean. Services were held in French each day and translated into either the Yoruba or Fon language. The messages were inspiring and instructive and focused on our role now as God’s people, as well as our role in the coming millennial rule of Jesus Christ. During the Feast, brethren participated in interactive Bible studies and the children were blessed to have youth instruction tailored for them during the eight days we spent together. The theme of peace emerged during the Feast as the messages were given. During the interactive Bible studies, a special presentation was made in which Bibles were given to the children and teens of Church members. We also enjoyed a wonderful talent show with music, humorous sketches and a dance. The weather was exceptional and was matched by a spirit of love, service and sharing. We thank God for giving us a wonderful Feast and want to say thank you to all those who provided financial support to us.
