What if you had a personal line to the White House and could call the president of the United States at any time—with any problem—knowing that he would listen and help? Think how easy it would be to have a positive attitude if you knew you had someone as powerful as the president on your side.

Leviticus 26:1-13 says if we obey God, we have Someone even more powerful than the president on our side—the God who rules the entire universe! He promises to provide you with food. He will give you peace, even when troubles start to pile up against you. He will help you grow spiritually strong. And most of all, God promises to walk with us (verse 12), which means He will go through every minute of every day with you.

The Bible makes it clear that God cares not only about people in general, but about you personally—and He provides answers to those secret inner questions you'd never voice to anybody else. So treat the Bible as your personal counselor—its wisdom will assure you of God's love for you, help you become a better person and guide you in all your difficult times!

So remember: communicate! Communicate with God in prayer!
