Grumblers
Do you know people who are downcast, pessimistic, always grumbling, always grouching, always complaining about their aches and pains, always criticizing and negative, negative, negative? Most of us do not know many people like that because we would avoid them. Nobody likes to be around a grumbler for too long (1 Corinthians10:10). Paul wrote, "Be anxious for nothing" (Philippians 4:6).
We like to associate with bright, cheerful, happy, optimistic, enthusiastic people—those who have a sparkle and life. Who can give you some lift and inspiration as they pass by. All of us can be like this most-liked group. All it takes is learning to be positive and cheerful, choosing to be that way and then continually practicing it.
