Stitches
The principle is true in everything. Mending small faults prevents them from becoming big ones. Small holes in socks, pants or tires can soon become larger. Mending a friendship is also something that needs quick attention.
In human interaction, there are times of misunderstanding. Left unattended, these can lead to regret. Jesus advised us to agree quickly—that stitch in time—or the tear can become huge (Matthew 5:25). Some have not learned how to “sew” the tears in their relationships, which will continue to widen until they get busy. Keep that sewing kit handy.
