Tongue Trouble
We value people who can be true to their word. The beginning of this respect comes when a promise is made or a word given and then it is carried out. When the actions do not follow the words, we begin forming an opinion about the person. That opinion is not a good one. A straight tongue brings respect; a double one invites trouble.
If you remember a promise today that you made yesterday—go and fulfill it right away. Develop the habit of meaning what you say and saying what you mean. Trouble will stay away!
