James wrote that his faith could be seen through his deeds (James 2:18). Our deeds reveal what we are to all who are about us. To say we have faith and then to lack visible verification of that is hypocrisy. Proverbs 20:11 informs us that even a child is known by his or her deeds. As we become adults, there is a growing need to express our faith and our inner character in the way we conduct ourselves. Our actions speak louder than our words and, all too often, words are only a promise of action.

It is the action we wait for. We tell people to put their money (or their action) where their mouth is. Good advice. Words may be denied, but actions, never. How is your faith? How are your actions?
