Who Is to Blame?
One person sits at the piano and the sound of the music is a delight. Another person can sit at the same piano and the sound can be frightful. Nobody blames the piano. We realize that in order to get harmony and good sounds from a piano, it takes time, practice, study and patience. If it is correctly played, the result is wonderful. If not, it can be truly ugly.
Life is a little like that. There is ugliness in life and goodness. When a person studies to live correctly, the results are pleasant and beautiful. For those who put no time or effort into living well, the results can be ugly and discordant. Life is not to be blamed. With the piano and with life, the player is responsible for the result.
