Seating Arrangements, Social Distancing, and Masks

Public

Hello Brethren,

I hope this email finds you well. I apologize for the delay in posting Feast Information. My family attended camp Pinecrest this summer and returned home very ill. We are on the mend but still battling extreme fatigue.

LOCAL COVID RESTRICTIONS

I wanted to update you on the local situation with the COVID restrictions. Currently, in New Braunfels, there are no mask mandates nor vaccine requirements.   This is a fluid situation, however, so be prepared for things to change rapidly.

MASKS

For Feast of Tabernacles services, we will have the main hall with socially distanced seating and no mask required. We will also have the adjoining ballroom available for mask-only seating and fellowship. Coffee and snack service before and after services will not be available this year, however, you can feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks with you.

SEATING

Seating will be socially distanced and assigned.  That means that you can choose your seats for the entire Feast and keep those seats.  You will not need to look for seats every day.  Let your family sit together and stay in the same seats every day for the safety of your family's health.  Please do not leave valuables in the hall.  Your family name on a piece of paper will suffice to reserve your seats.

Please choose seats towards the front of the hall leaving the back rows open for guests who come in on random days.

ALTERNATE PLAN

In the event of a COVID outbreak among the brethren, in-person services will be canceled and services will be webcast via Zoom for you to watch from your feast accommodations. There will be a dial-in number for those without cell phones or laptops. Most of our planned activities are outdoors and will go forward as planned for those still wanting to participate.

COVID Reminders

Please be extra vigilant to stay home from services if you are exhibiting any coronavirus symptoms. The Delta variant can start out deceptively simple with 1. Exhaustion 2. Sore throat 3. Or upset stomach. These can be the first symptoms that show in your body days before any fever happens.  If you are showing any of these symptoms, then please stay in your room, and get a COVID test before returning to services.

Let's be extra careful to protect each other.

We are looking forward to a rewarding and encouraging Feast of Tabernacles and Eighth Day.  No matter what happens, we intend to rejoice at the Feast as God commands.  May you all have safe travels to New Braunfels this year.  Please pray for the success of the Feast and the protection of all people around the world who faithfully keep God's Word including His holy days.

Sincerely,

Rod Foster - Coordinator
