2015 Feast of Tabernacles Report
Tonga
Malo e lelei (hello) to our brethren around the world. We had a wonderful Feast in Tonga, with some of our family from Australia joining us. We had a high attendance of 18 people.
The Lord has blessed us this year with good weather for the Feast. We had rain for the plants and sunshine for activities. Also the air was cool at night.
We prepared an umu (underground oven) for the opening night and the seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Everyone pitched in to help prepare the umu. It was a highlight to share the umu with our family and guests at the Feast.
Samisoni and Ann Ha’angana prepared activities at the beach with swimming in fresh water in a cave called Anahulu, and they set up a volleyball court. We had the privilege to hear Mrs. Ha’angana and her children, Larisa and Nathaniel, sing for special music. We had special music, “The Lord is My Light,” sung by four girls—Larisa, Litia, Priscilla and Sonia. Every day we had our church service with sermon DVDs from America.
We look forward to more visitors next year.
Ofa Lahi atu (love you lots).
