Many were able to visit Glacier National Park, including driving the scenic Going-To-The-Sun highway to the top of Logan Pass. This was the first year that the road was still open during the Feast. 

Services were held in the Tabernacle building of the Glacier Bible Camp. Comfortable seats, a new heating system, and plenty of room allowed all to enjoy the variety of spiritual food that God prepared and presented by the many elders and deacons attending this site. 

In addition to beautiful, inspiring special music and choir that enhanced our services, for the first year at the Montana site we had an ensemble that accompanied the congregational hymn singing. This included brass instruments (tuba, baritone, trumpet) as well as strings (violins, cello) and a flute. On family day the children’s choir delighted us. In addition to the daily services there was also a special educational seminar, adult Bible study, young adults Bible study and a teen Bible study. On the eve of the Eighth Day there was also a rousing hymn-sing that many enjoyed.

Tuesday night many attended the family western dance held at the Whitefish Community Center. A wide variety of music kept the dance floor busy, while many just enjoyed fellowshipping and socializing. After services on Wednesday, family day was held at the Glacier Bible Camp park that was augmented by a four-lane climbing wall, two bungee cord trampolines and a bounce house for the toddlers and young children. There were also a number of special activities set up for the younger kids. Activities included gaga ball, miniature golf, carpet bowling, horseshoes, golf and the playground toys. 

Thursday we had early services for what is called “Glacier Day”—a time for all who wanted to explore Glacier National park or the beauty of Flathead Lake. Friday was the traditional ladies tea, with 112 ladies and young ladies participating. Saturday evening many enjoyed an evening of bowling in Whitefish where we took over all 16 lanes. Sunday was the second year we had a seniors luncheon and it was also a tremendous success.

The Glacier Country site provides unique opportunities for fellowship with many staying at the camp in the lodges or in their own RVs, trailers or tents. On-site meals are available for all and many friendships are made and renewed over shared meals in the camp dining hall. 

We certainly thank God for blessing us with a wonderful Feast in Glacier Country Montana!
