2018 Feast of Tabernacles
Merimbula, Australia
Almost 250 people gathered to rejoice and rehearse the meaning of tabernacling. Most were from the states of New South Wales and Victoria, while some came from other parts of Australia. There were also guests from New Zealand, America, Papua New Guinea and England.
Some of the highlights included more than 40 children singing in the children’s choir, plus nine first-time Feast keepers. Both thoroughly enjoyed themselves along with the rest of God’s people. The focus of the Feast messages set our minds on the realism of the Millennial Kingdom and how we are to prepare for it. A variety of special music added to the Feast atmosphere each day. The range of activities made it possible for good fellowship for all ages. Throughout the Feast we kept contact with 24 fellow-brethren in Tasmania, who were part of a satellite site. It was evident there was a spirit of appreciation in sharing the Feast, as we all looked ahead to the promise of the future God has planned to restore the world.
In summary, it was a very encouraging Feast and we anticipate returning to Merimbula in 2019, God willing.
