2018 Feast of Tabernacles
Osoyoos, British Columbia
The view was spectacular and Millennial with the mountains and vineyards that surrounded the lake! The high attendance for the Feast this year was 235.
A fun family day was held on the beach with various fun games and a sand castle contest. Some of the entries to the contest included: a lion and lamb, the mountain of the Lord, BB-8 and Millennium Falcon, etc. There was also a family dinner and dance that evening with a delicious meal of beef or fish and music through the decades.
Later in the Feast teens went on a hike up Mount Kobau and later stopped by the Spotted Lake that was not so spotted this time of year. But the event ended with gelato and fellowship. The same day young adults and singles went to the Covert Farms Family Estate where they enjoyed a wine tasting of organically made wine, and then went on an adventurous hike on the property to see some spectacular views.
Near the beginning of the Feast seniors enjoyed food and fellowship at the senior luncheon. Two nights during the Feast seniors also enjoyed many entertaining games at the senior game nights. There were lots of snacks and various games provided both evenings.
There were museums, lots of scrumptious food, tea, coffee, wine tasting and so much wonderful fellowship this year. It truly was a small taste of the future coming Kingdom of God and a reminder that peace will prevail.
