Camp Report
Preteen Camp Kiwanis
Camp Kiwanis started off with a bang (of a thunderstorm), but the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits. More than 50 campers ages 1–12 and more than 50 staff members and parents camped together for four days and three nights in the lovely woods of Pennsylvania. Our minds were filled with stories of God’s and Joseph’s faithfulness, our bellies were filled with s’mores and popcorn around the campfire, our bodies were filled with activity, and our hearts were filled with the love of new and old friends.
Activities included making tie-dye shirts, dodgeball, fishing, creek swimming, woodworking, dancing, basketball, water sports, team building, puddle jumping, wiffle ball, Christian living, kayaking, songs around the campfire, and the traditional last night game of capture the flag. Camp ended with a delicious lunch, a stellar choral performance about Joseph, and many hugs. Next year’s tentative dates are July 12–15. We can’t wait to see you there!
