Garrett is a Development Coordinator for Cooperative for Education, an organization dedicated to ending poverty in Guatemala through Education. He has participated on the Guatemala Youth Corps project four times, twice as one of the trip coordinators.

Ryan Shallenberger lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Rachel. He attends the Atlanta/Buford congregations.
