Monday, July 31, 2017 -- St. Lucia Summer camp
Today, we all had the awesome opportunity to visit a farm that one of the local brethren owns and maintains. There were a lot of cool fruit trees of all different kinds -- mangoes, bananas, and breadfruit to name a few. We got to enjoy fellowship and learn how different foods are harvested. This evening we got to enjoy a Bible study together learning about how to face our giants. Mr. Smith talked about the lesson of David and Goliath and how with God, David was able to work through anything. Mr. Smith used this lesson of facing our giants as we work towards fighting our “giant” that we’re facing tomorrow -- climbing and hiking the Pitons! He compared different physical and spiritual giants that we face and while tomorrow’s climb will be tough -- we can do anything while putting God first. We all got to sit and talk about the lesson we can do anything while putting God first and got prepared for our awesome adventure tomorrow!
