Gene Roddenberry’s fictional Star Trek television series of the 1960s sparked interest about space travel. Is the earth the only place which is occupied by sentient human beings like us? It is a really big question which has many sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for an answer. What is the answer? Can anyone know, and how?

There is more of a focus on the UFO phenomenon than there has ever been, and it is being openly discussed in the halls of congress. The Boston Herald reported on July 26, 2023, in an article titled, “‘Non-human biologics’ Found Among Wrecked Alien Craft, Whistleblower Says.” Whistleblowers have come forward claiming that for several decades the United States has been back-engineering technology found in crashes, and “non-human biologics” have also been recovered.

The article stated: “Talk of UFOs is taking off. The U.S. has spent the last several decades attempting to reverse engineer the technology found among the wreckage of crashed UFOs and has recovered 'non-human biologics' during its work, a whistleblower told a House committee on Wednesday. Former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer David Grusch testified along with two former military pilots during a bipartisan hearing of the Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs. Under direct questioning by U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), Grusch said some of the 'remains' of pilots discovered at crash sites were 'non-human.'” Grusch further said, “That was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the program I talked to, that are currently still on the program.”

Congress is examining the UFO phenomenon

The article continued to say: “Ryan Graves, a former F-18 pilot, and David Fravor, a retired Navy commander, both also testified regarding their close encounters with UAPs during their time flying military aircraft. Both men described objects they say flew in a manner that no man-made craft is designed for and performed aerial maneuvers at odds with the laws of physics. Both acknowledged the craft could have been advanced technology operated by the U.S. or another government, but said the flying objects seemed too incredible to be man-made…Graves, who after leaving the military founded the organization Americans for Safe Aerospace, a UAP non-profit, claimed that he saw unexplainable flying objects off the Atlantic coast ‘every day for at least a couple years.’ Despite the somewhat far-out nature of the subject matter at hand, lawmakers seemed inclined to take the matter seriously…”

Scientists are taking it seriously as well. Dr Avi Loeb, an astrophysicist at Harvard University, believes we could find out whether aliens exist in less than a month. He and his team are testing meteor fragments that fell to Earth back in 2014. The meteor, known as CNEOS 2014-01-08, was detected by the Catalina Sky Survey, which scans the heavens for Earth-threatening comets and asteroids. It traveled at an abnormal speed of 28 miles per second faster than any known asteroid or comet. Dr Loeb believes the meteor may have been of interstellar origin outside our solar system, meaning it came from another star system.

So, what of it? Are there interstellar beings traveling to earth in extraterrestrial space craft? At best, unless more evidence is forth coming, all that is available is circumstantial evidence. Even the whistleblowers, “acknowledged the craft could have been advanced technology operated by the U.S. or another government.”

What does the Bible say?

What do we know from the Bible? We know God created angels prior to the creation of this physical universe. They shouted for joy at the creation of it (Job 38:7). We know God created the Earth and turned the care of the Earth over to Lucifer. He rebelled and through his power he influenced one third of the angels to rebel also (Revelation 12:4). We know he and his angels were cast down to the earth (Revelation 12:9). In Jude 6 it further informs us: “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.”

God changed Lucifer’s name to Satan and the unrighteous angels became demons. God has imprisoned Satan and his rebellious demons. They are restrained to this Earth, and their deceptions continue to this day. Apparently, God allows them the freedom to go to and fro on the earth (Job 1:7), and maybe they have more liberty than that. 

It would be a small feat for these super intelligent beings to build craft powered by advanced propulsion or to clone non-human beings to pilot them to perpetuate a lie that extraterrestrials were visiting Earth from another star system or galaxy. Is the whole UFO phenomenon a big lie to add to and support the end time scenario of the Beast and the False Prophet? Prior to the return of the true Jesus Christ, someone else will come claiming to be the prophesied Messiah. How will he come on the scene? It will be a time when lying wonders will be used (2 Thessalonians 2:8-9). This end of the age scenario ultimately is brought about, so Satan will be worshipped.

Other comments from those who have investigated UFOs and alien beings say they often lie. There is no evidence they have done any good for anyone. This is the evil way of the Devil and wicked demons who toy with the minds of human beings.

We are equipped with knowledge about the spirit realm

On the other hand, the righteous angels of God do very good things. Their very purpose is to minister to and serve the heirs of salvation (Hebrew 1:14). There are many examples in Scripture of this. They deliver messages to the saints (Daniel 9:20-23). Angels were sent to stop the mouths of lions for the prophet Daniel (Daniel 6:22). They protect and intervene to free God’s people from jail and other dangers according to God’s will (Acts 12:1-10). 

We can rejoice that we are equipped with this information so we are not hood-winked by the evil schemes of the devil. It is important to believe what God says over what we might see, because we can be fooled. Ephesians 6:11 admonishes us, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Is there anyone out there? Yes, and it is our heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the multiple millions of holy angels who are sent to serve God’s people around the globe and fulfill God's plan of salvation for all of human kind. If there is anything else we need to know, it will be revealed to us.

Russia Launches Baltic Naval Drills, Ratcheting Up Tensions With European Neighbors

Russia’s Ministry of Defense said it began live-fire naval exercises Wednesday in the Baltic Sea, ratcheting up tensions with nearby European nations that are already high over NATO and Ukraine. 

Russia last carried out mass military exercises in the Baltic Sea in June, two months after Finland became NATO’s newest member. The drills took place at the same time NATO was holding its own Baltic Sea exercises.

The Russian exercises announced Wednesday will involve more personnel and aircraft than the last round and will feature the use of live weapons. The Russian defense ministry said the navy’s commander-in-chief, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, will oversee the drills, which were designed to test ‘the navy’s readiness to protect the national interests of the Russian Federation in an operationally important area.’
The Ocean Shield-2023 exercises will involve forces practicing how to ‘protect sea lanes, transport troops and military cargo, as well as defend the coastline,’ the ministry said. More than 200 combat exercises will involve some 6,000 personnel, 30 warships and boats and 30 aircraft, it added.

Iran’s navy unveils new vessels equipped with 600 km range missiles

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards’ navy has unveiled new vessels equipped with 600-km range missiles at a time of rising tensions with the US in the Gulf, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday. The announcement was made during a military exercise off the coast of Abu Musa island, one of three Gulf islands under Iranian control but disputed by the United Arab Emirates.

The news agency gave no details about the missiles but cited a commander on the need to defend the islands.

CDC: Researchers Suggest Leprosy May Become Endemic in Florida

Researchers suggest that leprosy has become endemic in the southeastern United States, with Central Florida accounting for 20 percent of cases. The entire state of Florida accounts for 81 percent of the biblical-era disease in the United States.

The study published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed 159 new cases were reported in the U.S. in 2020, doubling the number of reported cases in the last decade based on data collected by National Hansen’s Disease Program. Approximately 70 percent of these new cases were reported in Florida, California, Louisiana, Hawaii, New York, and Texas.

Leprosy, otherwise known as Hansen’s disease, is a ‘chronic infectious disease caused by the acid-fast rod Mycobacterium leprae.’ The disease primarily targets the skin and peripheral nervous system which includes the brain and spinal cord.

Possible Chinese malware in US systems a ‘ticking time bomb’

The Biden administration believes China has implanted malware in key US power and communications networks in a ‘ticking time bomb’ that could disrupt the military in event of a conflict, The New York Times reported Saturday.

The Times, quoting US military, intelligence and security officials, said the malware potentially gave China’s People’s Liberation Army the ability to disrupt US military operations if Beijing were to move against Taiwan at some point.

The systems affected, the Times said, could allow China not only to cut off water, power and communications to US military bases, but also to homes and businesses across the United States.

The report comes two months after Microsoft warned that state-sponsored Chinese hackers had infiltrated critical US infrastructure networks.

Japan says North Korea threat more serious than ‘ever’

Japan said Friday that North Korea posed a more serious threat to its national security than ‘ever before’, as nuclear-armed Pyongyang rattles its neighbors with repeated missile tests and belligerent rhetoric.

In its annual white paper — a rundown of the most pressing military threats and plans to ensure stability — Japan’s defence ministry made a case for a significant hike in domestic defence spending as the world enters ‘a new era of crisis’. While China’s growing military might and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine were major focuses of the white paper, North Korea also ranked as a key concern for Japan.

‘North Korea’s military activities pose an even more grave and imminent threat to Japan’s national security than ever before,’ the document said.

‘It is believed that North Korea has the ability to attack Japan with nuclear weapons fitted to ballistic missiles.’

Fox spotted along walls of Temple Mount sparks talk of prophecy

This isn't the first time in recent years that foxes have been spotted near the walls of the Temple Mount. A fox was spotted along the southern wall of the Temple Mount on Wednesday night, as Tisha Be'Av, the day when the two Temples of Jerusalem were destroyed, was marked. The sighting of the fox went viral, with social media users saying the sighting was a sign of a prophecy coming true.

The social media users were referencing a story related in Tractate Makkot (24b) in which Rabbi Akiva, Rabban Gamliel, Rabbi Elazar ben Azarya, and Rabbi Yehoshua visited the site of the destroyed Second Temple.

When the rabbis arrived at the site, they saw a fox emerge from the site of the Holy of Holies and began weeping, although Rabbi Akiva began laughing. The rabbis asked Rabbi Akiva why he was laughing as a fox walked in a site about which the Torah wrote "And the non-priest who approaches shall die."

Rabbi Akiva responded that the appearance of the fox coincided with a prophecy given by the prophet Uriah in which he stated “Therefore, for your sake Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become rubble, and the Temple Mount as the high places of a forest (where foxes are found).” (Although the prophecy appears in Micah 3:12, there is a rabbinic tradition that it was prophesied by Uriah and not Micah.) 

‘Non-human biologics’ found among wrecked alien craft, whistleblower says

Under direct questioning by U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), Grusch said some of the “remains” of pilots discovered at crash sites were “non-human.”

“That was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the program I talked to, that are currently still on the program,” Grusch said. Grusch testified that, while assigned to the National Reconnaissance Office, he was tasked with identifying any government programs dealing with the appearance of unexplained aerial phenomena, or UAPs. During the course of that work, he told Congress, he made a startling discovery that he was then prevented from investigating, despite his high-level security clearance. “I was informed in the course of my official duties of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program, to which I was denied access,” he said.
