There is a line in a country song by the singer/songwriter Aaron Tippin that goes, "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything." Those are some very true and profound words.

Our world today is awash with compromised values, morals and beliefs. However, we can have faith that, when we turn to the Bible, God says what He means and means what He says. We must search the Bible to ensure that what we believe is truly what God says (Acts 17:11) so we can be sure of what we believe and why. As we are told in Ephesians 6:11, we must, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Satan is the author of deceit and, if we are not careful and willing to stand for God's truth, we can fall for anything.
