All With One Accord
The Feast of Tabernacles is a time for refreshing our vision of the coming Kingdom of God. It’s a time of heightened rejuvenation of our relationship with God and with our brethren in the Body of Christ.
Once again this year, thousands of people gathered at various sites around the world to refresh their vision of the Kingdom, which God promises to bring and of which the world is in desperate need.
Starting on page six, you will find the reports from each of the Feast sites the United Church of God held around the globe. Starting on page 11, you will find photos from nearly every site.
One common thread in all of the reports this year was a general sense of unity, peace and being of one accord. Another shared observation in many of the reports is the acknowledgement of God’s blessing on the site, both in physical ways such as nice weather and in spiritual ways. That does not mean there were no pre-Feast or even during-Feast trials. But many of those trials seemed to be resolved by God. In fact, read the Feast report from Davao City, Philippines, and you will find an incredible story of miracles God performed!
“Best Feast Yet!” is a phrase maybe as old as our modern-day keeping of the Feast, but in so many cases this year, individuals and families and parents and children found themselves saying it and feeling it. God truly did bless this year’s Feast of Tabernacles.
