Bible prophecy gives major trends that must be extant in the world before Jesus Christ returns. Among those are the ability to destroy all human life, the establishment of a Jewish homeland,  the rise of a 10-nation power in Europe, the end-time battle between that power and powers in the Middle East, the downfall of America, Britain and Israel, a world-wide preaching of the Gospel, and instant world-wide communication technology allowing the entire world to see and hear the Two Witnesses. While only God knows the precise time of Jesus Christ's return, it is evident that with all these things happening or imminent, we are nearing the time of which the prophets spoke.
