2016 Feast of Tabernacles Report
Roraima, Brazil, South America
Inspirational messages included the importance of commitment, dysfunctional conflict in the physical and spiritual family, spiritual alertness, and the meaning of the Eighth Day.
Many fun activities were organized for all ages. The children’s party was one of the highlights of the Feast and featured a Noah’s ark theater. The story of Noah and his family was told as children dressed in animal costumes entered the ark. The young adult’s dance and family dance provided music and fun for everyone. Local talent entertained us during the talent show evening.
The ladies enjoyed an afternoon of fun and relaxation during our ladies tea, creating their own hand-painted aprons. Each apron displayed messages for the Feast, scriptures, fruit, flowers and names of those ladies attending the tea.
During the free afternoons, the water resort provided much relief from the scorching temperatures. Canoeing, water slides and refreshing pools were enjoyed by many!
Another year and another Feast of Tabernacles has come and gone so quickly! We are left with many pleasant memories and the enjoyable times we could share with one another!
