2016 Feast of Tabernacles Report
Kohala Coast, Hawaii, U.S.A.
Hapuna Beach is considered the best beach on the island and one of the highest rated in the world. Some members felt this was the nicest Feast location they have ever attended.
A few people went to the summit of the Mauna Kea mountain where temperatures are in the 30s while down at the beach the temperatures are in the upper 80s. An active volcano on the south end of the island was also a popular place to visit. Hawaii has four out of the five major climate zones in the world, and 8 out of the 13 sub-zones, which makes driving very interesting. You can drive 10 minutes and go from the jungle to desert conditions.
The sermons, sermonettes and quality of the musicians dominated conversations. Although food can be expensive, a little research showed where bargains can found. Taking photos of the daily sunsets was also a common event. It was windy on several days, but not a distraction. If you want to see some of the photos go to “UCG Feast of Tabernacles Hawaii 2016” on Facebook.
