2016 Feast of Tabernacles Report
Olmue, Chile, South America
This year the Feast began with rain but only lasted for a day. Afterward we had sunny days and pleasant temperatures. The maximum attendance was 109, and we had three baptisms.
As in previous years we have activities for different age groups. A highlight was the tea for the elderly, where we had the opportunity to serve 30 of our brethren. The young adults musical group, Memories, played and sang songs during this activity.
As happens every year, the Feast went by rapidly in peace and harmony, leaving us the feeling of having experienced the best of all feasts.
For my part, this year I had the opportunity to travel during the first part of the Feast to the province of Misiones, Argentina, where I visited this emerging group of brethren that kept the Feast of Tabernacles. We had an attendance of 44 people in Campo Viera and 33 in another site of Primavera. I was able to preach and teach about the Holy Days, gave a Bible study, participated in activities and held a youth seminar. There were also 12 baptisms. This Feast was as profitable as the one in Chile and they felt like it was the best time of their lives.
