This was our first but definitely not our last seminar at this venue. Women with the same beliefs were able to come together to share and teach one another about the Word of God, how to have a happy marriage and how to be a helper. This year’s theme was “Arise and Shine” from Isaiah 60:1-2. Deacon Luke Banda opened the proceedings with views and points on the theme. We enjoyed delicious meals, a Bible study titled “Mind our Tongues as Women,” and singing songs in harmony, including hymn 129, “How Great Thou Art.” Skills included cooking and making traditional bread using cassava and groundnuts. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the almighty God, and to all who made the seminar possible, not forgetting Mr. and Mrs. Pringle for their timely and never-ending support.
