We are not somehow at a disadvantage when it comes to living in the world today versus having lived at some other time in history. There has never been an "easy" time to live. Day to day life has looked different at different times and places in history, but God's Way and the road to the Kingdom remain the same. And, wonderfully, in this time and place we have the Bible in addition to all God's incredible promises.
