Even though born in Georgia in the American southeast, Philip Edwards spent most of his youth in the San Diego area of southern California. As an avid late night talk radio listener while in high school during the early 1970s, he ventured across the same voice on many distant radio stations and soon became intrigued with the message of The World Tomorrow.
