God’s promises to Abraham formed the foundation of His covenant with Israel at Sinai, as well as His covenant with the Church. Some mistakenly teach that the Church of God has replaced Israel as the sole recipients of God’s promises and blessings. However, Replacement Theology is not a teaching found in the Bible. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew! His plan and purpose for Israel continues to this day. Following the return of Jesus Christ, they will be reestablished in the Promised Land as the model nation God intended them to be from the start. The Church foreshadows what Israel and the rest of the world will ultimately become in the plan and purpose of God.

Paul serves as Pastor for the United Church of God congregations in Spokane, Kennewick and Kettle Falls, Washington, and Lewiston, Idaho.    

Paul grew up in the Church of God from a young age. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1991-93. He and his wife, Darla, were married in 1994 and have two children, all residing in Spokane.
