Today, as we turn our minds to preparing ourselves spiritually for Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread, we will consider how envy and self-seeking, aspects of the self, what Paul was inspired to call the “old man,” needs to be put off and the new man, Jesus Christ, put on. More specifically, we will address a vital aspect of how to sacrifice our “self” in laying down our lives for our brethren.
