[Steve Myers] Orbital debris or space junk is damaging our satellites and even the International Space Station. Scientists have to track that debris in order to try to avoid it. There's a spiritual lesson here that really tells us we better be tracking things that could damage us spiritually. We need to watch out for so many things that could damage our spiritual health. One of the things we have to watch for, we have to watch out for the things that we say, the things that we say.

Proverbs 21, is a good reminder of that very thing. In verse 23, we're told."Watch your words. Watch what you say, hold your tongue.'' The message says. "You'll save yourself a lot of grief." But by tracking that debris in orbit, they can maneuver satellites or the space station to avoid that debris. We need to do the same in our lives. Watch what you say. Watch what you say because it will cause you a lot of grief if you don't watch the things that come out of your mouth and, really even more seriously what's in your heart, bringing those things out.

So, let's take that admonition seriously. And let's lookout for that debris. Watch out for what you say.
