[Peter Eddington] This was one of the most exciting things to happen in the media department in quite a while. I'm sitting here right now right in front of our new Beyond Today set.

When we think about our original studio that we were in for 13 years, 360 programs, space was quite small. You may have noticed that even our presenters had to stay in the exact same spot all the time. The lighting was quite close to their head. The ceiling was low and they couldn't move far or else they'd be out of the light. And that was the only area we had to do reenactments to and illustrations for our programs. Let's say we were talking about Daniel or King Nebuchadnezzar and we'd do some kind of a reenactment. The space was quite tiny. Maybe 8 foot by 10 foot to work within with cameras, the set pieces, the actors and everything.

Most people when they would tour the Home Office will say how surprised they were how small our studio and set was before.

It was just last January when we broke ground on our new video recording studio. Bulldozers coming in, concrete poured, steel going up, walls being put in place and then the building started to take
shape.

So where we are right now is basically a big soundstage. Half of it is used for the Beyond Today set itself. There are three main areas. There's a section that has like a brick wall that we can do
Beyond Today Dailys. Then there's the main presentation area with a lectern. And, the third area is more of a sit down interview space that is right in front of the video wall - on which we can display graphics, slide, scriptures and video clips live throughout the program.

Let me give you a bit of a tour of some of the other rooms that we have. There are two storage rooms. One is on the first floor and that's where we have our road cases, our cameras and lighting equipment, cables. But, right above that on the second floor is our costume area. Right next to that is our control room. The control room is where we do the teleprompting from, sound console and lighting board. Our crew of about seven are in the control room during a shoot. Right next to that is the radio studio and Studio B. Where we can do podcast interviews, Portugese sermons done every week by
George de Campos. Studio B is used for various audio recordings. Also on the first floor is our green room or our a dressing room. This is where our presenters go over the notes, get their glow reduction on, a little bit of makeup, and then get ready to go on stage.

Where I'm sitting right now is right in front of the actual Beyond Today set. This is in the main soundstage area about 5,000 square feet all together a wonderful space for a crew to work in. We have four cameras. The fourth one is actually on a jib. It adds a level of movement and a level of depth when you have a moving camera like that that's up over the heads of the audience. We dedicated and opened the studio itself on Monday, November 26, 2018. Mr. Kubik gave a dedication speech and prayer. We had the entire office staff here as well as the ABC students and also the architect Mike Bredemeier from KBA Inc. was here.

[Peter Eddington] We're really excited to have recorded our first three programs the last week of November. We had more than 50 people in the audience for all three programs which seemed to add a level of excitement to the presenters, a certain sense of immediacy with the audience and I feel that our presenters were able to make a greater connection with the audience at home. Who were trying to reach alternately.

[Gary Petty] We must live in anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ.

[Darris McNeely] The book of Revelation gives us hope. It gives us something that no other human writer, no other human source, no other media, no other part of culture can give us. It is the hope of God's intervention upon the world.

[Steve Myers] You cannot be a true Christian without the Spirit of God. A Christian is defined by one that is led by the Holy Spirit.

[Peter Eddington] It was all made possible by the generous gifts and donations of our members and others that pretty much made this a self-contained package when it came to finances. It did not impact the church budget at all. So this space can be used for many many years to come. It's an excellent investment by the church and we're really excited about it. We thank everyone for their support, help and dedication as we do our part to preach the gospel of the good news of the Kingdom of God.
