This Bible study covers Deuteronomy chapters 20-22, which is a continuation of Moses’ second sermon to the new generation of the Children of Israel just before they enter into the Promised Land. In these chapters, God gives laws concerning warfare, such as exemptions from military service, military strategies of distant cities not in Canaan. God through Moses also gave instructions concerning unresolved murders, proper bestowal of inheritance rights as well as dealing with unruly sons. Finally, laws concerning lost property, and laws of purity to established the integrity of marriage and sexual relationships in that marriage.
