God says that it is impossible to please Him without faith (Hebrews 11:6). In Matthew 17:20-21, it shows that faith couples with prayer and fasting. Fasting is an often forgotten tool of God that we must use frequently, as Paul says. We need to fast often to build our relationship with God and to be a true servant of God. This is a much needed tool for the true Christian and disciple of Jesus Christ.
