This message describes the following nine ways in which Paul’s exhortation in 1 Corinthians 11:1 (to be followers of, to imitate) him as he also followed (imitated) Christ should apply to each of us in our lives: (1) Persistence; (2) Patience and Longsuffering; (3) Courage; (4) Humility; (5) Uncompromising with Truth; (6) Yielding; (7) Forgiving; (8) Loving God the Father, Jesus Christ and the brethren of the Church; and (9) An Unshakable resolve to be in the First Resurrection and to help others reach that same goal. In conclusion, there can be no more beautifully poetic description of what it means to follow Paul as he followed Christ than for us to reach Paul's spiritual level attained when he wrote Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” NOTE: Although the message introduction said there would be ten points, the message inadvertently omits what was to have been the ninth of Paul's ten qualities, which was his “Love of all humanity (both physical descendants of Israel and the Gentiles).
