The study of genealogy basically seeks to answer the same questions posed by religion: Questioning the past, present and future—where we came from, how we got where we are and what is going to happen to us? Russell Shelton shows the promises and power of God found in Biblical genealogy.  He reviews the two genealogies of Jesus Christ - Matt 1:1-17 (from Adam to Jesus through Mary, His biological mother) and Luke 3:23-38 (from Jesus back to Adam through Joseph, not the biological father but of the lineage of David. God was the Father.) He analyzes and explains some of the erroneous objections, alleged errors and contradictions in these scriptures.
