The grace of God in the New Testament expresses the greatness of His love and the richness of His mercy to mankind. Grace is the foundation of true Christainity and has tremendous meaning when we really understand it.
God tells us to grow in grace and knowledge. Grace can be defined as God's divine, gracious, favor and blessing as well as gracious care, goodwill, benefit, gift and goodness.
This sermon describes how grace is involved in our calling, our belief in Jesus Christ, repentance, forgiveness of sins, justification, reconciliation to God the Father and eternal life/salvation.
Contrary to what mainstream Christianity teaches, the commandments and other laws of God must be keep to have God's grace extended to us. We also are obligated to be humble and not allow lawless or perverted grace to be part of our Christian life.
