We have many reasons to be thankful to God, because of His blessings. He has called us and given us understanding of His plan of salvation for all mankind, and it is being carried out on time. God has given us brothers & sisters who love us and we can worship in peace with them each Sabbath! We can go to the store and buy the groceries we need and still have money left over. We wear good clothing and drive dependable car. So we can be thankful for all of these things, but we also have trials, just as all of God’s servants have experienced. Sometimes it is difficult to be thankful for trials, but we know that God remains faithful and will never leave us, and we know that the trials we endure are for our ultimate good. We can be compassionate and sympathetic for others when they have trials and we can grow closer to God.
