Just as God led the physical nation of Israel out of slavery in Egypt, so He and Jesus Christ lead converted Christians out of this present evil world. As Israel had to eat unleavened bread on their journey, so must Christians deleaven their lives by allowing Jesus Christ to clean them up through His spirit. We must come more and more to have the mind of Christ in us as we exit from spiritual Egypt.
