King David was excited in making preparations for the temple that was to be built by his son Solomon. He gathered much material in doing so. I Chronicles 29 shows a prayer of David and other words in praising God. Parallels are drawn from David's words of praise to relate to God's work in building the spiritual temple of which we are a part.
