The devastating assault on the nation of Ukraine has brought tears to the eyes of many around the world. What about us in the Church of God? Have our emotions been stirred by the images of human suffering we have witnessed? As the end of the age approaches the tragic consequences of man’s sins will play out in increasingly dramatic fashion around us. As God’s people we should be found sighing and crying over the sorrows we see. These events should intensify our personal resolve to live godly lives today as we pray, “Thy Kingdom come!”

Paul serves as Pastor for the United Church of God congregations in Spokane, Kennewick and Kettle Falls, Washington, and Lewiston, Idaho.    

Paul grew up in the Church of God from a young age. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1991-93. He and his wife, Darla, were married in 1994 and have two children, all residing in Spokane.
