We often focus on Christ, the Lamb of God, being our Savior and also the Lord of the Kingdom of God. But, the Day of Atonement focuses on Christ's intimate and incredibly active role as our Heavenly High Priest. As a future kingdom of priests in preparatory training now (Rev, 1:6), we need to fully understand and appreciate His awesome under-taking on our behalf to be able to always point to Him and Him alone as the our Heavenly Father's ultimate selection to intercede for us and those yet to heed the call to salvation in ages to come.

Robin Webber

Pastor, United Church of God

Robin Webber was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1951, but has lived most of his life in California. He has been a part of the Church of God community since 1963. He attended Ambassador College in Pasadena from 1969-1973. He majored in theology and history.

Mr. Webber's interest remains in the study of history, socio-economics and literature. Over the years, he has offered his services to museums as a docent to share his enthusiasm and passions regarding these areas of expertise.
