God is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The word translated "Longsuffering" literally means "long-tempered", as opposed to the short-tempered attitudes often evidenced in the world around us and even in our own lives. We must be careful not to take the divine long-suffering of God for granted, but rather, use the time He has given us well, yielding to His Spirit and allowing His long-suffering to become a part of our nature as we patiently wait on the return of Jesus Christ.

Paul serves as Pastor for the United Church of God congregations in Spokane, Kennewick and Kettle Falls, Washington, and Lewiston, Idaho.    

Paul grew up in the Church of God from a young age. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1991-93. He and his wife, Darla, were married in 1994 and have two children, all residing in Spokane.
