Jesus Christ referred to Himself as the Good Shepherd. As such, He stood in stark contrast to the leaders of His day and set the example for other human shepherds in the Church who He would appoint. The Good Shepherd knows His sheep by name, binds up their wounds, protects them from danger, goes after those who are lost and lays His life down for His sheep.

Paul serves as Pastor for the United Church of God congregations in Spokane, Kennewick and Kettle Falls, Washington, and Lewiston, Idaho.    

Paul grew up in the Church of God from a young age. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1991-93. He and his wife, Darla, were married in 1994 and have two children, all residing in Spokane.
