Speaker: Lud Kiramidjian Date: 10/21/23 Location: Orinda There was a man who lived in Jerusalem who while still in his mother’s womb was chosen for a future date with destiny. The time would be on a particular day during the Fall festival season of 30 A. D. The place would be at the entrance to the Second Temple (or its courts) in Jerusalem. For this man, that date with destiny would be momentous --- when he would personally experience both a physical and a spiritual transformation that would change his life forever. That date with destiny would include two distinct yet inseparable journeys, two healings, and a progressively growing knowledge and understanding about how Jesus Christ was his personal Healer, his venerated Prophet, his divine Savior, and his Messiah. This man’s fascinating story is detailed in John chapter 9, which will be read and commented upon in this message. This story is not just a wonderful account of a man being healed of physical blindness --- but it is also a story about that man being healed of spiritual blindness. Interwoven into this story are two associated journeys that God required this man to take in order to receive his healing. Those two journeys symbolize the two journeys God requires each of us to take during our individual pilgrimages toward the Kingdom of God.
