The 9th of Av is the saddest day on the Jewish calendar and is second only to the day of Atonement in importance. This day commemorates many tragic events in Israel's past that occurred because they rejected the true God. With Christ's return, the nation of Israel will recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah, turn back to God and be restored.
