We are familiar with many passages in the New Testament that describe the Christian life as spiritual warfare. For example Ephesians 6 tells us to put on the whole armour of God and tells us why in verse 12. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." In this split-sermon, after bringing up this subject, Steve Parker asks us, but what about Matthew 18:3 telling us "Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."? He then gives us five steps from II Cor. 10:1-6 that show us how the above commands fit together to produce the type of warriors God desires us to be.
