Many in the religious world around us are well-intentioned in their worship, but it also needs to be true. True worship of God begins with knowing Him and doing what He commands. The blending of false and true religion is called syncretism, something which God hates. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. This message also explores the roots of some of the symbols associated with Christmas.

Paul serves as Pastor for the United Church of God congregations in Spokane, Kennewick and Kettle Falls, Washington, and Lewiston, Idaho.    

Paul grew up in the Church of God from a young age. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1991-93. He and his wife, Darla, were married in 1994 and have two children, all residing in Spokane.
