What do you fill your days with? How do you focus your time and attention? Give priority to the things that matter. Think thoughts that are good and righteous. And boldly serve God and his people. Life is but a flicker. Make each day the product of limited time, well spent.
The idea for this video came about because of two things. I knew my friend Jamie would be in Florida for the Feast of Tabernacles, and he and I had talked about filming one of these videos on location there. We brainstormed and came up with a few ideas for how to bring out a lesson from a beach setting. What helped me decide on the lesson and visual metaphor was an event in the news—the death of Steve Jobs. I read a lot about him and one thing he seemed to do well was prioritize his time and focus his attention on things that mattered to him.
Christians should always be doing this, focusing our time and attention on what truly matters—God and His people. Being aware of our limited amount of time in this life should help us to do this. I hope you are encouraged by this video to focus on what really matters.
